From a knee surgery to a 275 lb squat
Tessa came to Forge 11 months after a knee reconstruction. We started with bodyweight work and progressed to a barbell over six months. Eighteen months in, she squatted 275 lb. for a triple — more than she had ever lifted in college.
A 300 lb. deadlift jump in three years
David joined as a Barbell Club member after three years of training alone. He moved from 185 to 485 on the deadlift in 36 months — through a competition, an injury, and a return to the platform. He still has Marcus program his cycles.
From "can't do a pushup" to 1.5x bodyweight bench
Priya started in Forge Strength at 47, having never touched a barbell. Twelve months later she bench presses 155 lb — 1.5x her bodyweight — and pulls a 245 lb deadlift. She also has the gym record for most consecutive 5:30am classes.
