What counts as an event?
Any tracked action, page view, or backend log line you send through the SDK or server library. We deduplicate identical events fired within 100ms.
Do you charge for users, seats, or workspaces?
No. Pricing is purely event-volume based. Bring the whole company.
What happens if I go over my plan?
We never block ingest. Overages bill at $4 per million events, summarized in your monthly invoice with no surprises.
Can I self-host?
Yes — Scale customers can run Lumen in their own VPC. We provide a Helm chart and quarterly upgrade releases.
Is there a free trial on paid plans?
